Gullas College of Medicine (GCM) proudly welcomed the students and faculty of Jen Teh Junior College of Medicine, Nursing, and Management of Taiwan, together with participants from IU English Academy, for an enriching educational and cultural exchange on campus. The visit highlighted GCM’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and providing a world-class learning environment for aspiring healthcare professionals.

A Day of Learning and Cultural Exchange

The afternoon began with a warm reception at the main lobby, where guests received visitor kits before setting out on a comprehensive campus tour. Participants explored GCM’s Anatomy and Skills Laboratories, Simulation Center, library, study lounges, classrooms, and auditoriums, gaining a firsthand look at the school’s modern facilities and vibrant academic atmosphere.

Following the tour, the delegation gathered for a series of engaging sessions:

• Welcome Remarks – Delivered by Dr. Mila Maruya, Director of the Student Affairs and Services Center and International Students Unit, who warmly greeted the guests and set the tone for a fruitful exchange.

• Why Become a Doctor? – An inspiring talk by Dr. Sumiya Fanlo, Chairman of the Department of Ethics and Legal Medicine, highlighting the nobility of the medical profession.

• Institutional Presentation – Dr. Tan, GCM’s Marketing and Admissions Head, shared the college’s rich history, academic programs, and international partnerships through an audiovisual presentation.

Spotlight on GCM Talent

A lively Cultural Exchange Activity featured captivating singing and dancing performances by the GCM All Stars student organization, showcasing the artistry and energy of the GCM community.

Strengthening Global Connections

The program concluded with the Awarding of Certificates of Participation and heartfelt Closing Remarks, followed by a group photo that captured the spirit of camaraderie before the delegation’s departure.
