World Champion Dragon Boat Team Pays A Courtesy Call to GCM!

On the 3rd of July 2024,


Members of the Administrative Body belonging to World Champion Dragon Boat Team Philippine Accessible Disability Services Inc.abbreviated as PADS pay a visit to GCM to discuss partnership.


The Philippine Accessible Disability Services Inc. (PADS) is a globally recognized sports team renowned for its advocacy for the inclusion of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs). PADS is particularly noted for its achievements in Dragon Boat Racing, having secured sixth place at the 16th IDBF World Championships held in Pattaya, Thailand, in August 2023.


The visiting party was represented by Mr. Jay King Arenas, Mr. Ericson Victoria and Mr. Richard Buar who was given a tour of the school being showcased the world class learning tools and state of the art facilities.


The administrations of both GCM and PADS have expressed a strong interest in partnering and enhancing cooperation through the facilitation of activities and the sponsorship of events.


With PADS set on defending its world Championship Title in the upcoming 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐃𝐁𝐅 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 in Ravenna, Italy this September, they are seeking support from numerous organizations and institutions including GCM to aid in its effort to represent the community and the entire country on the world stage.


This cooperation is a testament to the dedication the institution has on making an impact and leaving a legacy in our society.
