GCM recently welcomed students from the Jenteh Junior College of Medicine, Nursing, and Management, an esteemed institution based in the Republic of China, Taiwan, as part of their educational tour in the Philippines. The visit marked a significant opportunity for cultural and academic exchange, highlighting GCM’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and showcasing its world-class facilities.
To kick off the tour, the students were led on an immersive campus tour by Ms. Janessa Raisa Ramirez, Specialist of the Student Affairs and Services Center (SASC), and Mr. Ryan Russell Garcia, Marketing Associate
The visiting students were given an inside look into GCM's various departments and facilities such as the Skills Laboratory . These stops on the tour demonstrated the institution’s dedication to integrating practical, hands-on learning experiences with rigorous academic programs. The guests had the opportunity to witness firsthand how GCM prepares its students for real-world challenges through innovative teaching methodologies and the use of advanced medical equipment.
As part of the tour, Ms. Ramirez and Mr. Garcia also introduced the students to GCM’s friendly staff, further emphasizing the institution’s nurturing academic environment. The visitors were able to interact with faculty members and staff, who shared insights about GCM’s programs and commitment to producing globally competitive medical professionals.
Throughout the visit, the delegation from Jenteh Junior College engaged in meaningful discussions about the similarities and differences between the healthcare education systems in Taiwan and the Philippines. This exchange of ideas not only enriched the students’ understanding but also strengthened the ties between both institutions, paving the way for future collaborations in academic and healthcare endeavors.
