In celebration of wellness, community, and creativity, the GCM hosted its much-anticipated Golden Hour Stretch: Sunset Yoga at GCM last June 21, 2025. The event, held at the picturesque Spring of Knowledge, drew students, faculty, and guests into an evening of calm, connection, and mindful movement.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the campus transformed into a sanctuary of peace and artistry. Participants were welcomed with open arms and a refreshing atmosphere, anchored by the gentle rhythm of yoga led by skilled instructors. The sessions were designed to accommodate both beginners and seasoned practitioners, emphasizing inclusivity and holistic well-being.

But Golden Hour Stretch was more than just yoga—it was a multisensory experience.

Guests indulged in free grazing platters, canapés, and frozen yogurt, creating a perfect blend of nourishment and relaxation. Art flourished through the Mandala Art Stations, where attendees expressed themselves through color and design, adding a creative dimension to the event's therapeutic ambiance.

Adding to the charm of the afternoon were several curated booths featuring local favorites. Cookies, handmade art, and freshly brewed coffee were available for purchase, offering attendees a chance to support small businesses while enjoying quality treats.

Golden Hour Stretch was not just an event—it was a celebration of balance. It highlighted GCM’s commitment to nurturing not only the minds but also the hearts and well-being of its students and community.

With its successful turnout and warm reception, Golden Hour Stretch promises to be a lasting tradition—a breath of calm in the academic whirlwind and a reminder that wellness and joy belong at the heart of medical education.
