Five students from the graduating Grade 12 Batch of 2024 from the Saint Louis College Cebu undertook a two week work immersion activity as part of their requirements to graduate from their academic strand.

Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) students namely Jannah Ermac, Denzel Tinga, Shanelle Ouano, John Tan and Gian Remedio immersed themselves in the different departments in the GCM learning different skills and getting a feel for what it is like to be in the workplace.

They were taught by the support staff of the institution the numerous skills that they could use as they advance through their careers while sitting in classes as visitors to give an idea on what it is like to study in a medical school.

The hands-on training and exposure to the medical industry have helped them consolidate their career goals and prepare for what lies ahead.

The GCM work immersion program has proven to be a crucial part of the students' educational experience, bridging the gap between academic understanding and practical application. It demonstrates the value of experiential learning and its significant impact on young minds.
