GCM Hosted the first day of the 12th Visayas Regional Assembly 2024 of the

Association of Philippine Medical Colleges.

Opening the three day event with a program held in the Campus’ Auditorium which was

then followed by a Regional Health Care Innovation, Regional Medical Student

Research and Regional Interscholastic Debate.

With GCM serving as the host location for the first day, the various activities that took

place during the event where students, faculty and staff from different medical schools

got a chance to interact, compete and learn from one another. Amidst the instructive

conversations and enthralling tours, the prestigious delegates of the guest medical

schools were treated to a delectable spread of culinary delicacies made by partner and

sponsor brands, as well as the cultural culinary concoctions of GCM's own students.

From the fragrant scents of freshly brewed coffee to the delectable aromas of

international cuisines, the food stalls only further made the event more exciting

providing attendees with the wonderful pleasure of indulging in the various flavors from

different cultures, enhancing the overall experience.

This was topped off with a debate where medical students representing their respective

schools faced off in a friendly competition where various topics relating to the medical

field were tackled with each party giving their inputs and perspectives on how to deal

with situations along with giving their opinions about a certain matter.

These activities were held throughout the day concluded by a social night that was held

in another venue.
