The Gullas College of Medicine held their Diwali celebration, also known as Deepavali,

is one of Hinduism's most important festivals. It is commonly known as the "Festival of

Lights."


GCM was illuminated with the dazzling celebration of Diwali, the festival of lights!

Attendees got ready to immerse themselves in the vibrant colors, electrifying

performances, and festive spirit.


The presence of high standing individuals such as Hon. Raymond Alvin Garcia Cebu

City’s Acting Mayor giving a speech about diversity and coming together as one

collective with the radiant glow of the lights of Diwali illuminating Cebu City as the

institution along with its guests celebrates the richness of culture in this joyous

occasion.


With the growing Indian community here in Cebu, they are welcomed with open arms as

their colors, flavors and traditions create a unique addition to the beauty of the city.

Through GCM, the colors, arts, cuisines of the cultures brought together a vibrant

atmosphere that transcends boundaries embracing diversity.


Cultural Dances from India, Thailand, Nepal and even a contingent from Cebu

represented their respective cultures through the art of dancing. Leaving the crowd in

awe with their talents.


Through events like these, GCM has grown as a vibrant melting pot where people from

many backgrounds and countries join together with a common goal: to answer the noble

call to become physicians.
