Celebrating Art, Advocacy, and Student Talent

The Gullas College of Medicine proudly announced the winners of its On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest through a special YouTube Live broadcast held last June 25, 2025, following the successful art event last June 14, 2025 at the Ozone Park. The contest was organized in celebration of World Environment Day, bringing together the creativity and advocacy of GCM students through visual expression.

After careful deliberation and combined votes from judges and online engagement, the top entries were recognized live before the GCM community and viewers online:

🏆 1st Place – ₱10,000 Cash Prize
Nicolas III Arcena
Poster Title: Draw for Nature: Create, Protect, and Inspire
A striking piece that captured the essence of environmental stewardship, encouraging action through creative expression.

🥈 2nd Place – ₱5,000 Cash Prize
Roschelle Meiji Entoma, Chavelle Reyes, and George Tristan Baybay
Poster Title: Unity for a Greener Future
This collaborative artwork stood out for its hopeful message of collective responsibility and sustainability.

🥉 3rd Place – ₱2,000 Cash Prize
Neeraja Jyothish
Poster Title: Save Earth or Be Ready (Death Awaits)
A bold and evocative poster that emphasized the urgency of climate action with a clear and haunting visual narrative.

The event was not only a celebration of artistry but also of the GCM community’s deepening awareness of environmental issues. All participants are commended for their exceptional efforts and powerful messages.

🔹 Winners may claim their cash prizes from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM until Monday, June 30, 2025.
🔹 All participants are encouraged to retrieve their posters at the Marketing Office.
