With three meaningful events lined up, the Society continues to uplift communities, champion truth, and reunite generations of doctors in one grand celebration of legacy and impact.

Medical Specialty Mission: Bringing Quality Care to the Community

The Alumni Society opens the month with heart: a free Medical Specialty Mission that brings vital health services to those in need. With the help of volunteer doctors across specializations, the mission reflects GCM’s ongoing commitment to compassionate, accessible healthcare.

🔹 Available Services:

• General Surgery – Minor surgery for cysts and “bugon,” consults for hernia and hemorrhoids

• OB-GYN – VIA screening and consultations for ovarian, uterine, and other gynecologic concerns

• Dermatology – Skin consultations, skin tag and wart removal

• Ophthalmology – Visual acuity testing, cataract screening, eye check-ups

• ENT – Consultations and minor ENT procedures

• Internal Medicine – Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Endocrinology

• Pediatrics – Well-baby check-ups and consultations

• Orthopedics & Pediatric Surgery – Specialist consultations

📌 Participants are encouraged to bring old prescriptions or lab results.

Symposium: Myths, Medicine & Media – A Doctor’s Ethical Role in the Age of Misinformation

On the morning after the mission, the Alumni Society invites everyone to a timely and thought-provoking symposium focused on a growing global concern: misinformation in health.

Led by physician, ethicist, and communicator Fr. Florge Michael Zamora Sy, MD, MA, MPA, this session will explore the evolving ethical responsibilities of doctors in the digital age — where false health information can spread as fast as a virus.

Closing this memorable weekend is the much-awaited GCM Grand Alumni Homecoming, hosted by Batches 1985, 1990, 1995, and 2000. Set in the elegant halls of Casino Español, this year’s celebration bears the theme:
“Heal, Celebrate, Inspire: The Ultimate GCM Doctors Festival.”

This festive evening is a time to honor the past, reconnect with batchmates, and celebrate the lifelong bonds formed at GCM. Expect a night filled with great food, music, recognitions, and exciting raffle prizes.
