On June 14, 2025, students of Gullas College of Medicine gathered at Ozone Park for a vibrant and inspiring Poster Making Contest in celebration of World Environment Day. Under the bright, cooperative skies, the event became more than just a competition—it became a space for self-expression, collaboration, and environmental awareness.

With art supplies in hand and ideas bursting with purpose, participating students unleashed their creativity to visually interpret this year’s theme: “Our Land. Our Future. Our Responsibility.” Their artworks reflected powerful messages about sustainability, climate action, and the collective duty to protect our planet.

Bonding Through Art and Advocacy

The atmosphere was filled with laughter, focus, and friendly competition as students worked side by side—many meeting each other for the first time. What began as a creative challenge quickly became a bonding experience, proving once again that campus life at GCM is not just about studying—it’s about growing together.

Set outdoors, the event was blessed with good weather, allowing everyone to comfortably enjoy the scenic Ozone Park as a natural creative backdrop. It was the perfect setting for an activity that honored both art and the Earth.
