Gullas College of Medicine gave me a chance to pursue my dream.
It takes a lot of courage and determination to pursue a path in Medicine but aside from that, it also requires a lot of financial aid. Coming from a middle-class family, I thought my dream of becoming a doctor will remain as a dream. Being the eldest, I had the responsibility to help my family as soon as possible. That is why I came to a point where I told myself that I should forget going to Med school.
However, the dreamer in me never died. I took all my courage and told myself to try applying for a scholarship in Medicine. I thought it was impossible but there is no harm in trying. Gullas College of Medicine was the first school where I applied so imagine my joy when they granted me a full scholarship. My deepest gratitude to the Institution for believing in me and giving me a chance to pursue my dream.
