My best experience as a student in GCM would have to be my batch’s legacy. Our batch, Vexillum, is the first in GCM’s history to extract and preserve the CNS and eyes from a human cadaver. I am proud to be a part of this legacy. And of course, being a part of one of the best organizations, the Medical Exemplars Dedicated to Service. This organization did not only help me grow as a student but also as an individual. I am surviving med school because of this organization and I am proud to be a member of MEDS.
The school had amazing developments over the years, especially now that they recently renovated the school to be more attractive and conducive for learning. GCM has a different kind of ambiance. Seeing the mountains on the 6th floor is so relaxing for us, medical students.
Med school is like a roller coaster ride. There will be times wherein you’ll be at your happiest and there will also be times wherein you have to drag yourself to get up to be okay.
