On November 12, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gullas College of Medicine held their Diwali celebration, also known as Deepavali,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

is one of Hinduism’s most important festivals. It is commonly known as the “Festival of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lights.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GCM was illuminated with the dazzling celebration of Diwali, the festival of lights!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees got ready to immerse themselves in the vibrant colors, electrifying<\/p>\n\n\n\n

performances, and festive spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presence of high standing individuals such as Hon. Raymond Alvin Garcia Cebu<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City\u2019s Acting Mayor giving a speech about diversity and coming together as one<\/p>\n\n\n\n

collective with the radiant glow of the lights of Diwali illuminating Cebu City as the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

institution along with its guests celebrates the richness of culture in this joyous<\/p>\n\n\n\n

occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the growing Indian community here in Cebu, they are welcomed with open arms as<\/p>\n\n\n\n

their colors, flavors and traditions create a unique addition to the beauty of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through GCM, the colors, arts, cuisines of the cultures brought together a vibrant<\/p>\n\n\n\n

atmosphere that transcends boundaries embracing diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cultural Dances from India, Thailand, Nepal and even a contingent from Cebu<\/p>\n\n\n\n

represented their respective cultures through the art of dancing. Leaving the crowd in<\/p>\n\n\n\n

awe with their talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through events like these, GCM has grown as a vibrant melting pot where people from<\/p>\n\n\n\n

many backgrounds and countries join together with a common goal: to answer the noble<\/p>\n\n\n\n

call to become physicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
