{"id":5608,"date":"2025-07-04T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gcm.edu.ph\/gcm\/gcm-welcomes-the-philippine-council-for-health-research-and-development-pchrd-for-herdin-research-camp\/"},"modified":"2026-06-03T16:48:49","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T08:48:49","slug":"gcm-welcomes-the-philippine-council-for-health-research-and-development-pchrd-for-herdin-research-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gcm.edu.ph\/gcm\/gcm-welcomes-the-philippine-council-for-health-research-and-development-pchrd-for-herdin-research-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"GCM Welcomes the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) for HERDIN Research Camp"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gullas College of Medicine (GCM) proudly welcomed representatives from the <strong>Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD)<\/strong> for the <strong>HERDIN Research Camp<\/strong>, a joint initiative designed to enhance research management skills across academic institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training was held in collaboration with the <strong>Center for Health Research and Innovation (CHRI)<\/strong> and the <strong>GCM Library<\/strong>, and brought together GCM\u2019s library staff, research committee members, and faculty research advisers for a full-day workshop focused on the <strong>Health Research and Development Information Network (HERDIN)<\/strong>\u2014the national repository of health research information in the Philippines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were honored to host the esteemed team from PCHRD\u2019s Research Information, Communication, and Utilization Division (RICUD):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ms. Ullyann C. Garcia<\/strong>, Chief Science Research Specialist, RICUD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ms. Maria Violeta G. Intia<\/strong>, Supervising Science Research Specialist, RICUD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ms. Grace Ruth T. Daulat<\/strong>, Science Research Specialist II<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ms. Donavie D. Flores<\/strong>, Project Technical Assistant VI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ms. Angelique R. Regio, <\/strong>Project Technical Assistant IV<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ms. Alyza A. Ganon, <\/strong>Project Technical Assistant III<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Their expertise and hands-on guidance were invaluable as they walked participants through HERDIN\u2019s submission protocols, repository functions, and indexing procedures.
